Sports has been the tag of Jayam Ravi always ...If the actors who had donned the role of Police officers more in their career sustain the image of cops, Jayam Ravi who had played the role of sports man in four of his 15 films including the two films under production (Foot ball player in Das, Kick boxer in Kumaran s/o Mahalakshmi, N.C.C disciplinarian in Peraanmai , and again a boxer in his much expected 'Booloham') sustain the image of a sports man in real life too!!!
' I had always been fascinated by sports ever since my child hood, it helped me to keep my spirits high and physically fit too .The mental strength of a sports personality makes me take both success and defeat with ease. Iam proud to say i have in built an strength physically as well mentally , thanks to my sports interest .I always contemplate ideas on the sports development and in the coming years i will spend a lot of my time and conserve my energy to build the sports branding .It is just co incidence that i am offered sports oriented roles , i preferred any roles that challenge me...My forth coming films 'Nimirnthu nil' with Samuthirakani and 'Booloham' with Kalyan are very close to my heart and the roles that i play in these films are very challenging too.' says Jayam Ravi with confidence brimming in his eyes.
