Prabhu Deva film R.. Rajkumar’s inital title was Rambo Rajkumr. But the director had to chop oof the word Rambo owing to the copy right issues. Now prabhu devas upcoming Action Jackson is facing the same copy right issues. Warner Brothers 1998 hollywood film featuring Carl Weathers and Sharon Stone released with the same name and the production house of Warner brothers has sent a letter to Baba arts Limited production and Eros International who are jointly producing the film over films title. The production house has given the makers of the bollywood film a 48 hour notice to change the title as Action Jackson is registered by them for the sub-continent as well. Now Prabhu Deva will have to figure out a new title for the Ajay Devgan Starrer ‘Action Jackson’
One of the producer Gordhan Tanwani has maintained that the film is purely a Hindi Feature film and the title was registered in all film producers associations including the Indian Motion picture producers association, and the association of motion pictures and television producers within India.When you register the title with any of these associations, they get their clearance from the government of India. The film has Ajay Devgan, Sonakshi Sinha, Yami Gautam in important roles. The film is set to release in June.
