It is a well known fact that Tamilans blind love towards the film stars. Tamil audience does not hesitate to built a temple and worship their favorite stars. Now a temple is going to be constructed for Kollywood Malayalam beauty Nayanthara by her Tamil Fans.
At the same time there were reports that she had appealed to her fans to drop the idea for constructing a temple for her. Her fans approached her seeking approval to construct the temple. She lovingly rejected it and appealed to her fans not to go ahead with the construction as it will hurt and create problems to her personally.
Nayanthara is back to films after her break up with Prabhu Deva.
Now she is active in Tamil and Telugu films.
Earlier the fans had built temples to Nagma and Kushboo. A Temple had been constructed in Tutucorin for Kushboo by her fans. Later the fans themselves razed it following her controversial comments about pre marital sex and AIDS.
