Kozhikode: Former minister of Kerala A.C.Shnmukhadas (73) expired. He was the state president and member of the national executive committee of the NCP. His end came at 9.30 pm on Sunday at the Kozhikode Medical College Hospital. In the evening he had chaired a meeting in memory of the late C.K.Govindan Nair. There itself he felt some uneasiness and was taken to the hospital. He was undergoing treatment for some time for kidney related ailment.
Cremation is planned at 5 pm today at the Mavoor road cemetery. From his home at Erengikkal body will be taken to Balusseri at 11 am. It will be kept at the community hall there, for public view till 1 pm. From 2 pm again it will be kept at Kozhikode town hall for public view.
