There were various reports doing round about the remake of the Sensational, bold and the much talked film of 80’s Avalude Ravukal since last few years. The film which was put on hold because of not getting the heroine, is expected start soon. Yes finally they have got the heroine for the film. If the reports are true, Meghna Raj will be playing the lead character Raji in the remake of the film.
The actress Meghna who achieved fame in the south Indian films within a short span of time has shown her willingness to do the role. Earlier Liberty Basheer has planned to remake this film with Priyamani in the lead. But now it was reported that Suresh Kannathan will be directing the remake. Suresh Kannathan achieved fame with the film Ottananayam. The story will be penned by Alleppy Sherif with suitable changes. The film revolves around a young prostitute and three men of different characters who enter in her life.
The original version was directed by I V Sasi. The film was the adaption of the novel written by Sheriff with the name ‘Avalude Ravukal Pakalukal. Actress Seema played the central character in the film
