After that Aashiq has directed so many other films and Mammoooty has also acted in so many other films. But now there is a report giving some relief to fans that Aashqiq abu and Mammooty is teaming up for a film and that will be In theatres very soon.
Now the latest news is that Mammootty is planning to allot his time to the Gangster once the shooting schedule of his present committed film Praise the Lord is over. The shoot of the gangster will be started on December 15th. This film will be released on 2014 among the other big films of Mammootty.
Now the latest news about the film is that Tamil actor Vijay will be seen shaking his legs for a dance number in The Gangster. According to sources, news claims that the director Aashiq Abu plans to introduce Vijay with a huge suspense in the film.
Mammootty will be playing the role of an underworld don in this movie. Other major cast of the film include Parthiban, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Baburaj and Rahini Hattangadi. The heroine of the film has not been finalized so far. The earlier rumour was that Meera Jasmine is playing the female lead in the film. But, nothing regarding this news has been confirmed by the director yet.
The film is Produced under the banner of Ahead Cinema Company. This action thriller will be shot at Kasaragod and Mangalore. Ahmed Siddique, and Parthan Mohan jointly have done the scripting for The Gangster.
