Thiruvandapuram : The speculations is that by avoiding Saritha’s Lawyer Congress leaders has allegedly tried to cover up the big names who has got involved in the Solar scam. Congress leaders had allegedly approached Saritha’s lawyer and offered him huge money to stop her statement from being made public.
BJP leader K Surendran said that Benny Bahanan and Minister K Babu had intervened in the issue to keep Saritha’s statement under wraps. The accusation was that UDF leaders allegedly met Saritha’s Lawyer and offered him to pay Rs. 4 crores to wrap up the case against Rs. 10 Crore demanded by the lawyer. There is also an allegation that they contacted Sreedharan Nair, the main complainant in the case had offered him Rs. 50 Lakhs. A UDF leader’s aide had also contacted the lawyer related to this.
