Kottayam: The court has ordered to charge a case against the channels which telecast the scenes of the sexual encounter involving Jose Thettayil. This order is passed by the Vaikkom first class Magistrate Court. This is in response to a Public Interest Litigation filed by Advocate Ambarish. The case is against the degradation of the moral values of women. The court’s direction is to file the case as per the IPC and IT Act. The respondents are Mathrubhoomi News, Manorama News and Asianet News.
