Kochi: The police registered a new case against Thettayil. The new charge is molestation as per IPC section354. The accusation is by the Magistrate court Aluva. Two days back police filed the new charge in the Aluva Court. It was after the observation of the court that sexual assault cannot be sustained, that the police raised the new charge. There was already an allegation of molestation in the complaint. So the crime branch feels that the new charge will sustain in the court.
