Kochi: The High Court has stayed the sexual assault case against Jose Thettayil. The ten day stay is for the FIR and further enquiry. It’s not possible to enquire into a nonexistent case. The court observed, it simply cannot believe that a girl would have sex with a person, on the promise of making his son marry her. The stay is applicable to her secret statement too. The court has sent a notice to the woman to appear before the court on Thursday. After hearing her arguments the court will give its final verdict
