Sreebala K Menon the noted writer and associate film director has worked with Satyan Anthikad as an assistant director. The long-time associate to director Satyan Anthikad will soon turn independent director. She will soon come with her first film . The film will feature Asif Ali, Sreenivasan, and Suhasini in the lead. The movie will also have eminent journalist And Asianet Ex Chairman Sasikumar in an important role.
The movie will go on floors in April, with Trivandrum being the prime location. Much of the movie will be shot in and around the capital city. The script of the film is written by Sreebala herself. Sethu Mannarkad who worked as film Production controller turns producer with this film. The film is produced under the banner of 25 frames Sameer Haq will handle the camera . Bijibal will score music for Rafeeq Ahamed’s lyrics. . Joseph Nellikkal does the editing. Costumes designs are by S B Satheesan, Sreebala’s 20 minute short film panthibojanan, received good reviews for its take on caste . She won 2005 Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award for her book 19, canal Road . Her other work which has published before this is Sylvia Plathinte Masterpiece
