Chennai : The south Indian Actor Manjula Viajaykumar ( 59) , Wife of the Tamil Actor Vijaykumar died in Chennai hospital following a brief illness. She had acted more than 100 films in South Indian Languages Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. In Tamil she has acted alongside with the top heroes across generations from Sivaji Ganesan to Rajanikanth. Her acting got highlighted with the Telugu movies.
She made her debut in films as a supporting actress in a 1969 film “ Shanthi Nilayam. And in 1971 film “Rikshakaran” she was seen in her first lead role .The actress had done important roles in Telugu along with the Actor NTR . In Malayalam she had done an important role in super hits like Abhimanyu, Inspector Balram etc. Tamil Actor Arun Kumar is her son, daughters Vanitha , Sreedevi, Preethi.Preethi is also Tamil Actress who has acted n several movies.
