National Award winner Salim Ahammed’s Upcoming film Pathemari starring Mammootty in the lead role will also have Actor Siddiques son. Siddique’s elder son Saheer Siddique will be debuting in films with the film Pathemari. He will playing the role of Mammotty’s son in the film.
He was earlier approached for a couple of films, but he denied it. He says that Mammootty is like a father figure to him and he is happy to grab a role along with him. Actor Siddique is also playing an important role in the film, but the father – son duo do not have any combination scenes. Sreenivasan, Jewel Mary, Salim Kumar, Joy Mathew are the other stars in the film. The film deals with the hardships and struggles faced by the people who goes to the gulf countries searching job.
Madhu Ambat will handle the camera. The sound mixing will be done by Oscar award winner Rasool Pookutty.
