Shine tom chacko of Ithihasa fame who got arrested for in Coccaine case has worked as assistant director in the malaylam film industry before he received fame in film Ithihasa. Before etering the acting , he was an assistant director in the Malayalam film industry. That too he was assisting the famous director kamal. He assisted kamal for about nine years. He entered acting only after that. He has played small roles in films like Gaddma, Ee adutha Kaalathu, Chapters, Annayum Rasoolum, Anchu Sundarikal, Arikil Oral, Pakida, Hang over, Konthyum Poonulum, and masala republic. He played his first lead role in the film Ithihasa and was appreciated for his work. After that he started to receive so many offers from the silver screen and it is during this time he got arrested for possession of drugs.
