Changanasseri: Shalu Menon has been taken into custody by the Police. And she was taken to Trivandrum for interrogation. ADGP Hemachandran and his assistants will question her. Her arrest is based on the complaint filed by Rafique Ali of Trivandrum to the effect that she along with Biju Radhakrishnan had duped him of Rs: 25 lakhs. Though this complaint was pending for the last few days no action was taken against Shalu. First Class Magistrate K P Anil Kumar of Trissur ordered yesterday to enquire about Shalu’s part in the solar scam. This was based on a complaint filed by a public servant P D Joseph stating that Shalu has a major involvement in the scam and she was avoiding action using her influence in the higher echelons of power.
