Shah Rukh Kahn and Farhan Akthar will share the screen space for the film Raees. The film will be directed by Rahul Dholakia will bring both the actors in the same frame for the first time. Film maker turned actor Farhan Akthar will play the role of the police officer in the film. The Story of the film is set in Gujarat and will bring out the real story behind the illegal liquor trade in Gujarat Fuelled by the Governments age old prohibition laws, dholakia is all set to address a state wide issue of prohibition of alcohol in Gujarat and how it fuels the rampant illegal selling and consuming of liquor. In the Film Shah Rukh will be playing the role of the bootlegger in this thriller. The film is slated to go on floor in mid – 2014 and will hit the silver screens on Eid 2015. Raees will be produced by the Excel Entertainment
