Thiruvananthapuram:The Cabinet meeting had decided to take steps to implement participative pension scheme for employees of semi government companies too,like that did for Government employees said the chief minister Oommen Chandy.
This will be made applicable to organization presently having pension schemes too.Chief Minister said the cabinet meeting held on Wednesday had given approval for the decision to implement participative pension scheme for state government employees from 1st April 2013 .For this the cabinet also approved state government to sign contract with National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL) and National Pension Scheme( NPS) Trust.With NPS Trust it is on the renewed contract that the government is signing.
