Singer and Anchor Rimi tomi is all gearing up to play the lead role. That too opposite actor Jayaram. She would be debuting into films by playing the lead role along with Jayaram for the film titled Thinkal Muthal Velli Vare. The film would be produced by Kannan Thamarakulam and will be directed by Anto Joseph. Rimi will be playing the role of a village girl named Pushpavally, who is addicted and obsessed with television serials. She is also a big fan of a television director and her family life , and the incidents happen in her life because of this obsession is presented in a very humorous manner in the film Thinkal Muthal Velli Varai.Earlier she done some supporting roles in films. but this would be the first time that she is playing the lead role.
