Film director Ashiq Abu wedded cine actress Rima Kallingal on Kerala Day, 1st November while avoiding all sorts of celebration and unnecessary expenditure. They both have signed the Marriage Register in the Kakkanad Sub-Registrar office as per the Special Marriage Act. After signing the register they have garlanded each other with red flowers midst heavy applause.The simple wedding ceremony was at 12.30 pm. A huge crowd of invitees and fans attended the wedding in which there were no golden ornaments of costly attire to be shown off.
News about the marriage first appeared on Rima’s face book wall. Yesterday both of them reached the Ernakulam General Hospital and handed over a cheque for 10 lakhs for the cancer patients.
