Super star Mohanlal is all set to make a film titled Randamoozham which is based on Mahabharatha. The film will be made with a biggest budget of Rs 1000 Crore and is based on MT Vasudevan Nair’s Randamoozham which narrates the Mahabharatha through Bhima’s prespective. M T Vasudevan nair would be writing the screenplay based on his novel. The film landed into trouble recently when a few Hindu Groups in Kerala Protested against the use of Mahabharata as the titled for the film. The Kerala Hindu Aikya Vedi Headed by K Saikala said that they will not allow the release of the film if the makers are releasing the film with the title Mahabharatha. But now it is reported that Prime Minister himself has extended his support to the team and mentioned that the film would be a matter of pride for India and he himself is eagerly waiting for the release of the film.
