Paradesi directed by Bala won eight nominations for the London Film Festival. Best Film, Best Director, Best Cinematography, Best Foreign Movie Best Music are the nomination gained by Paradesi. Also for the hero Adharva Murali won the nomination for Best Actor.The movie is based on “Red Tea” by Dr. Paul Haris on events happened before Independence.The movie had won much appreciation from critics.
