Actress Manju Warrier says that the arrival of new comers in the film is a good change. She was speaking at the Surya Festival held in Thiruvanathapuram. However she also said that the entry of new comers in the film industry does not effect on the importance of superstars Mammootty and Mohanlal.

The makers of the film Mayanadhi had released its first teaser. The film will have Tovino Thomas playing the lead role and is directed by Ashiq Abu. Actress Aishwarya Lakshmi would be playing the female lead in the film. the story of the film is written by Amal Neerad and the screenplay of the film is written by Shaym Pushkaran and Dileesh Nair.
