There were news that the second part of the famous movie Baasha, made memorable with the incredible acting of Rajanikaanth, was coming. Director Suresh Krishna declared that he has no plans to make the sequel of Baasha, while publishing his book, ‘My days with Baasha – G Rajanikaanth Phenomenon’. In this movie released in 1995, Rajanikanth had played the role of an autorickshaw drive as well as that of an underworld don. Though discussions were carried out with the superstar regarding the second part, that was not done due to the busy schedule. Suresh Krishna and Rajanikaanth combined in the movies Annamalai and Baba too. Suresh Krishna is not so active in the film industry, he is into the direction of the serials.
