Actor Nedumudi Venu will play an important role in the film based on Thakazhi’s Krishikaran. This short story Krishikaran is from the short story collection of Thakazhi Sivasankara Pillai Njan Piranna Nadu which got published on 1950. The story which tells the relationship between man and land has been adopted to drama earlier. The film will be directed by N.N Biju. The films inaugural pooja has been done by minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan at Thakazhi memorial. Director of the film told that the shoot of the film will be started in Alapuzha by February first week.
