It was earlier reported by director M Rajesh that his next project will have Santhanam playing the lead role. But because of some issues the project had been put on hold and at the same tone he has committed to do another new project and sivakarthikeyan would be playing the lead role in the film.
Actress Nayanthara would be playing the female protogonist in the film. This information has been shared by director himself in one of the interview given to the media.
The director also told that when he read the story and script to the actress she immediately knew the importance of the character and the film. Not only that she herself has taken the responsibility of her makeup and costume. He also added that if Nayanthara is the heroine then the work pressure would be reduced as she is one of the great performer and is serious and committed to work.
Mr. Rajesh also informed that this would be a family entertainer . But the film neither will have any alcohol consuming scenes nor smoking scenes.
Sivakarthikeyan and Nayanthara had earlier worked together for film Velaikkaran.
