Actress Nayanthara, one of the leading actresses of the southern film industry, has been roped in to play Vidya Bagchi in the southern remake of Hindi movie Kahaani, in which Vidya Balan played the lead.
Kahaani was released in 2012, written and co-driected by Sujoy Ghosh, the film featured Vidya Balan in a pregnant role in search of her missing husbnand in the city of Kolkata, the story was a suspense thriller.
Nayanthara reportedly said that she is extremely delighted to be a part of this movie. Critically acclaimed filmmaker Sekhar Kammula will direct ” Kahaani” in Telugu and Tamil.
