Panaji : Malayalam film Munnariyuppu Directed by Venu has been screened In the Goa Film Festival under the Indian Panorama Division. The film got screened in front of houseful audience. Before screening director Venu, Producer Ranjth, Script writer R Unni, Actors Aparna Gopinath and Ranji Panikkar were felicitated. To watch the film Esther Ananthamoorty wife of Jnanapeedam award winner U R Anandamoorthy was also present over there. She told that she attended the festival only because she is anxious about Malayalam films, and she liked the film Munnariyippu.
This time seven Malayalam films got screened in the Indian Panorama Division. The films are 1983 ( Ebrid Shine), North 24 Katham ( Anil Radhakrishna Menon), Njan Steve Lopez ( Rajiv Ravi), Drishyam ( Jithu Joseph), Munnariyippu ( Venu), Swapanam ( Shaji N Karun) Njan ( Ranjith)
