In the upcoming new film titled Oppam directed by Priyadarshan will have Mohanlal playing the role of a blind man. The film is titled as Oppam and will be a crime thriller. For the first time Mohanlal will be playing the blind man in the entire film. Mohanlal character in the film become the prime suspect of a murder. Since he become the prime suspect, it has become his necessity to find out the real murderer otherwise he will be fully charged in the case. So he go behind the case to find out the real culprit. How he handles it become the crux of the story.
The story of the film is by new comer Govindan. Script and screenplay of the film is by Priyadarshan itself.
