Madras Mail is coming back

The iconic film titled No 20 Madras Mail will be remembered all time by the film lovers. The film had two superstars of Malayalam film industry Mammootty and Mohanlal sharing the screen space and both had given an excellent performance. The film had super star Mohanlal in the the lead role and Mammootty in a cameo. The film won positive reviews and is still praised for the engaging elements in the film. The film is also well appreciated by both the critics and the audience . Now it has been reported that the upcoming new film titled Vaarikkuzhiyile Kolapathakam directed by Rajesh Mithila has been adapted from this Mammootty Mohanlal starrer film No 20 Madras Mail.

In the film Hitchcok Kanjikuzhi the character played by Maniyanpilla Raju is a novelist and dreams to make one of his novels titled Varrikkuzhiyile Kolapathakam into a film.

Rajesh Mithila is directing the film. Vaarikuzhiyile Kolapathakam is the name of a novel written by Hichcock Kanjikuzhy. It is also reported that Mohanlal would reprise the role of Toby Kurishingal but no official confirmation has been made about this.

But there is no clarity about Mammootty’s presence in the new movie. The film will Have Dileesh Pothen and Amith Chakkalakkal playing the lead roles. The script of the film is written by director himself. The cinematography of the film is by Eldho Issac. Jagadish and Maniyan Pillai Raju will also be seen in the movie. The heroine of the film is Ammera. Actors like Nedumudi Venu and Shammi Thilakan would play important characters in the film.
