Thiruvananthapuram: KSTRC vigilance takes initiatives to make the bus services efficent during Onam Season.The programme named “Point Duty Programme” aims at solution for the travel problems and ther by increased income for KSRTC.
The vigilance section plans to wait and collect as much as passengers in the buses which are otherwise has less.The programme lwhich will last till 23rd plans to provise better service during the festive season and there by increase the income.
For the purpose 400 inspectors are selected for 200 main junctions all over the state.The vigilance took this move because it has become a usual practice ,that KSRTC buses ply with out passengers even when there is no rush.
