Kochi: The former M.D. Tom Jose of KMRL had written to the CAG against giving the contract for the Metro Rail to DMRC. In that letter he had alleged that E.Sreedharan was pressuring the Govt: to get the Metro Rail contract to DMRC. He continues that he was removed from the M.D’s post just for giving the contract to the DMRC. He wrote this letter in August last year. Based on this letter the CAG officers had inspected the KMRL office. Now the KMRL authorities say that this inspection was just a formality and it has nothing to do with the letter written by Tom Jose.
