Kanyaka Talkies directed by K.R Manoj got selected for the 15th Mumbai International Film Festival ,India Gold Competition Section.It is the Jury chaired by Veteran Director Shyam Benegal ,that selected the film.
The marketing wing Mumbai Film mart ,which introduces the best Indian films to the world market for film distribution and sales also Kanyaka Talkies got selection. The film in which the actor and script writer Murali Gopi is the hero, also includes Lena, Maniyan Pilla Raju, Indrans.Nandu, Sunil Sugatha, Sudheer Karamana, N.L Balakrishnan, Parvathi, Alancier and almost fifteen of lead actors from drama filed also.The script for the movie was made by P.V Shajikumar ,Ranjini Krishnan and K .R.Manoj Kumar based on the short story by P.V.Shaji Kumar .
