The John Honai effect from theaters has not yet vanished. The character has become a big hit and it is still considered as one of the golden characters of Malayalam cinema loved by the audience for the villainous nature. While the film In Harihar Nagar had released its two sequels part 2 and 3. the audience failed to remember this villain character who gets killed in the gas accident when he switches on the light . But now a film will be made with John Honai as central character. The film will be directed by the newcomer T.A Thoufeeq. The film is also titled as ‘John Honai’ . The Team of four who appeared in the Lead role in Harihar Nagar will be seen in the new film too.
The screenplay is by Fasal. It is also reported that Rizabawa who played the role of John Honai in the first part will also be playing an important role in the film. Along with him Mukesh, Jagadeesh, Siddique, and Asokan will also be the part of the film.
Besides them, the other star cast of the film includes Suraj Venjaramoodu, Mamukoya, Kottayam Nazeer, Kalabhavan Nawaz, and Shaju. Alex Paul will be directing the music for the lyrics written by Santhosh Varma. Camera is by Rajaratinam, the film is co produced by Shiju Sudhevan Chovvaloor and Madhu Thillangeri. The shoot of the film will get started in Kochi.
