Jewish Synagogue


The Paradesi Synagogue is the oldest active synagogue in the Commonwealth of Nations, located in Kochi, Kerala, in South India. The Jewish Synagogue, Kochi is one of the exemplary sightseeing spots in Kerala. . It was built in 1568 by the Malabar Yehudan people or Cochin Jewish community in the Kingdom of Cochin. For public viewing, the synagogue remains open from 10 am to 12 noon and again from 3 pm to 5 pm every day except Saturdays and Jewish holidays.
