Hill Palace


Hill Palace is the largest archaeological museum in Kerala, near Tripunithura, Kochi. The palace was built in 1865 was the former residence of the Kochi Royal family and Tripunithura was the administrative seat . The collections displayed inthe museum is mainly from the Cochin Royal Family. The museum displays 14 categories of exhibits including murals, paintings, sculptures in stone and Plaster of Paris, manuscripts, inscriptions, carvings etc.
Presently the palace has been converted into a museum.

Open to public all days except Mondays from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm and 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm.

How to reach

Road: Located 10 kms. south-east of Kochi city, Tripunithura is easily accessible by bus

Air : Cochin International Airport approx 30km

Rail : Nearest Railway Station is Ernakulam Central Railway Station Located Within 10 km.
