Kochi: The High Court instructed for recording the statements from Saritha S Nair the accused in Solar Scam. Justice S.S Sathishchandran gave the instruction while hearing on the bail petition of Shalu Menon who also is arrested in the case. Also it is asked to produce Saritha before the Muvattupuzha Court today and inform the Court at 1.45 pm on noon session of the court.
Earlier DGP.T Asif Ali met Justice Sathishchandran and had discussions on the issue. The meeting went for 10 minutes. DGP explained that there was no willful attempt not to record the statement and keep custody of Saritha. It is not necessary to have Saritha in further custody and can be produced before the court and can record the statements Informed DGP. For the last two days government was seriously criticized by court on solar issue.
