New Delhi: The request made by Kerala for rejecting the petition given by Gova Foundation on preservation of Western Ghats for rejected by National Haritha Tribunal. The move made by Kerala to make the petition rejected got failed. Rejecting the petition, tribunal chair person Justice Swathanthar Kumar decided hearing on the petition submitted by Gova Foundation.

Advocate Krishnan Venugopal and standing counsel Joji Zacharia argued that the petition of the foundation will not stand in the tribunal. The Gadgil report has the nature of an advisory report they explained for Kerala on the basis of an advisory report the tribunal cannot give an order. For the order that should be law .Having rejected by Tribunal next is to appeal to Supreme Court
