Actress Abhirami who acted in Appothikiri of Madhav Ramdas has come back to films after an interval. She will be playing the role of Sub Inspector Arundhathi Varma in the film Driver On Duty directed by debutant Manoj Palodan.
The film is a comical one and it deals with the problems that lady police officers have to deal in rural areas. The film deals with a humorous situation faced by a male police driver Ramakrishnan played by Asif Ali in the police station where there are no male officers.
Asif Ali is playing the role of Ramakrishnan. The star cast includes Sudheer Karamana, Sunil Sugada, Thambi Antony, Noby, Shaiju, Janani Iyer, Lena, Rachana Narayanankutty, and Shruthi Lakshmi.
The film Driver on Duty is produced by Ravi Kottarakkara under the banner of Ganesh films. Music is composed by Parameshwar for the lines written by Rafeeq Ahammed.
