The upcoming new film directed by Shafi which has Dileep and Mamatha Mohandas playing the central characters has been named as as Canadian Tharavu. The other heroine of the film would be Namitha Pramod. Canada would be the main location of the film.
The screenplay of the film is done by Shafi’s elder brother Rafi. The other star cast of the film includes Mukesh, Aju Wargheese, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Ashokan, Shaju, Lena and Vinaya Prasad.. Bollywood star Makaranth Deshpandy also does a role in the film, the film is produced by Rajaputhra Ranjith. The shoot of the film will get started by August end. The camera would be handled by Santhana Krishanan the son of the famous cinematographer Ravi K Chandran. The music director of the film is Gopi sundar.
