The controversial Abhaya Case of Sisiter Abaya murder case is all set to be made in to Bollywood film. The screenplay of the film would be based on the autobiography of Jomon Puthenpurackal who is fighting a long legal battle to bring out the exact truth behind the murder of Sister Abaya happened in 1992. It is reported that Actor Irfan Khan would be playing the male lead in the film.
The case is under legal battle for the past 25 years and wait for justice continues even after 25 years. After investigation by several agencies the investigators could not reach the culprits due to the destruction of evidence and case properties.
Now Social Activist Jomon revealed that one of the production company from Mumbai is interested in making a film based on this case and the film would be shot in Kerala.
