Chief whip Rank is not any ones generosity. The rank is considered only after discussions. Have not told anyone that I am not interested to continue in the Government, said the Government Chief Whip P.C George. He also stated that he cannot take up the responsibility for anything which he has not told.
Further, he also denied the news on meeting the CPI (M) leader Thomas Issac. The accusation is that George is taking initiative to pull K.M Mani to the Left Camp.
The controversy got sparked up when P.C George demanded in public Chief Minister Oommen Chandy’s resignation and on that ground he had earlier informed that he is ready to quit the Chief whip Rank. But K.M. Mani has refused to accept his resignation.
