Chennaiyil Oru Naal is the remake of the malayalam movie Traffic, 2011. The film was released on 29th March 2013. This is a multi-narrative thriller that intertwines multiple stories around one particular incident. The film features an ensemble cast of R.Sharath Kumar, Cheran, Prakash Raj, Prasanna, Radhika Sarath Kumar, Parvathi Menon and Iniya. The film is directed by Shahid Khader. The film received good response from the audience as well as the critics. Rajnikanth appreciated the team of this film for having highlighted the significance of organ donation.
