Kozhikkode: Police to submit the charge sheets today on the murder case of Ms. Adithi S. Nampoothiripad, charging case against her father and step mother. The seven year old died following the cruel beating of her father Subramaniam Nampoothiri and step other Ramlath turned Devaki. Subramaniam is the main accused and Devaki is the second. On autopsy of the body of Adithi found marks of burning and beating the girl. Also she was on starving.
The police took statements from neighbors, maternal relatives of Adhithi and child line workers. The investigation was completed by the police team under Nadakkavu CI P.K.Santhoshkumar.
On investigation the police have found that this was the third marriage of Devvaki and she is also involved in the case of stealing the idol from Perumbavoor . For crimes including murder are charges against them. The charge sheet will be submitted to The First Class Judicial Magistrate Court-4 at iranjippalam today
