Actress Catherine Tresa will now play the heroine of Karthik. The actress who has acted in Kannada, Telugu and Malayalam films, is all set to enter Tamil film. The film will be directed by Ranjith and the flick has been named Kaali temporarily. She originally hails from Kerala but was brought up in Dubai . She was working in the modeling field earlier and hence acted in AD films. In Kannada she has acted in Upendra Starrer God Father and Vijay Starrer Shankar IPS and in malayalam Uppukandam Brothers 2, The Thriller etc. She has also acted in one film with Allu Arjun.
