Maanikunju is putting up with four friends at Atens in Ootty. An engineering student Vishnu comes to their midst to stay with, carrying some ulterior motives in mind. ‘Buddy’ tells the story of these guys. It’s being directed by Raj Prabhavathi Menon. Anoop Menon comes in the role of a father in this movie which is based on family relationships. Balachandra Menon, after a long break makes a comeback in this movie. Two ladies with different outlooks, also are there in main roles. Augustin Jackson produces the movie. Actors other than Anoop Menon are Sreekanth, Aasa Sharath, Bhoomika Chowla, Mithun Murali, Balachandra Menon, Babu Antoney, Bhama and Honey Rose. The director herself does the script writing.
