Young actors Arya and Vijay Sethupathy are the two shining stars in Tamil cinema. They come together for the first time in the movie ‘Purampok’. They are being brought together by the award won director SP Jaganathan. Arya dons a social worker and Vijay, a railway employee in the movie. Both the characters happen to meet each other at an unexpected time. The incidents followed is the theme of the movie.
The shooting will begin in January next year. Initially it was decided consider Jayam Ravi and Jeeva to don the main roles. But, letter on the director chose Arya and Vijay. In 2009, a picture named Poranmay directed by Jaganathan with Ravi in the centre role had earned fame. Now it is after a gap of three years he is doing ‘Purampok’. Story and screen play are also by Jaganathan.
Arya is all ready to act even as a co-actor. He had worked with Ajith as co-actor in a very effective way. Vijay has once again said that it is not the hero role he is interested in but the story and the screen play.
