It has been reported earlier that the recent Malayalam hit film Bhaskar the Rascal directed by Siddique staring Mammootty in the lead role will be soon made in Tamil. it has reported earlier that super star Rajanikanth will be playing the lead role in Tamil remake. But the latest news is that super star Rajanikanth will not be the part of the film instead Ajith Kumar will be playing the lead role originally played by Mammootty in the original Malayalam film.
Nayanthara who played the female lead in the Malayalam will be doing the same role in Tamil remake also. She will be playing the female lead opposite Ajith Kumar. Siddique himself will be directing the film in Tamil also. Nayanthara is considered to be the hit maker as she has given continuous hit films recently. The Tamil Remake of Bhaskar the Rascal would be the first big budget film of Nayanthara in Tamil. earlier she has acted with Ajith earlier in film Aarambam.
This film would also be the comeback film of siddique in Tamil who made hit film in Tamil like Friends and Kavalan.
