Solar scam: Chief minister’s name added in the petition later

Trivandrum: In the petition filed by Konni Sreedharan Nair against Tenny Joppan there was no mention of the chief minister’s name. But later it was found that some unknown person has added the chief minister’s name in the list of people whom Sreedharan Nair had talked to. This leads the police to suspect that somebody has hatched a conspiracy to trap the chief minister in the solar scam. Sreedharan Nair has clarified that he has never mentioned the name of the chief minister in the petition. Now the police are planning to start an enquiry into as to who has made the correction in the original petition.

Again, in a press statement, Sreedharan Nair reiterated that he has neither met nor talked to the chief minister. Now the police are trying to find out at what stage this addition to the petition took place.

Thettayil hasn’t done any wrong, says his wife

Ankamali: Thettayil’s wife Daisy said he hasn’t done anything wrong. Police are hunting her husband and son on the basis of the complaint filed by a 30 year old woman. Daisy is planning to file a complaint against the woman to the Governor, Assembly Speaker and the Human Rights Commission. Thettayil has the full support of the entire family. None in the family believes he has done any wrong. Producing some obscene videos certain people are trying to blackmail her husband and son. Her husband is a victim of conspiracy, she added.

Trivandrum: The minister V.K. Ibrahim Kuju said the tendering work for the Kozhikode Monorail has started and from July first week tenders will be called. The related documents have been given to the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation. For Kerala Monorail Corporation DMRC is calling the tender. Once the tenders are invited the pre-bid meeting will be held in September, added Ibrahim Kunju.
